DELIVERIES TO MAINLAND UK


PLEASE NOTE: Orders placed between Friday 18th August and Sunday 3rd September will be dispatched on or after Monday 4th September, 2017.

We offer Standard Royal Mail 24 (1st class), Royal Mail 48 (2nd class) and Next Business Day (Monday-Friday only) delivery on mainland UK orders depending on the weight of your order (including outerpackaging) and how quickly you need your order.  Upon checkout, we offer the most cost-effective ways of getting your order to you quickly.

Please note that our Courier service only delivers Monday through to Friday.

When ordering you should ensure that you have selected the correct delivery option and completed the delivery and billing addresses correctly.  Mistakes can result in delays in receiving your items. If you have registered with The Sweetie Jar, you can check the status of your order at any time by visiting your account page.

If either the Royal Mail or the Courier are unable to deliver an item because it does not fit through the letter box, no-one is available to receive or sign for it and the customer has given no other delivery instruction, they may deliver the item to a neighbour’s address and leave a card for the person the item is addressed to explaining that it has been left with that neighbour.

If either the Royal Mail or the Courier choose not  to leave the item with a neighbour, or the item has been sent using Special Delivery, or they cannot find a neighbour, they will take the item back to their local depot and leave a card at the customer’s address. The card will give the person the item is addressed to the option to have the item delivered to that address later, or tell them where they can collect the item from.

At our discretion we may substitute a courier service for Royal Mail.  Our courier service will require a signature.

We are unable to deliver to PO Box or BFPO addresses.

DELIVERIES TO THE CHANNEL ISLANDS


PLEASE NOTE: Orders placed between Friday 18th August and Sunday 3rd September will be dispatched on or after Monday 4th September, 2017.

Delivery to the Channel Islands (please refer to customs & sales tax information below) is generally by Royal Mail. Delivery will take up to 5 - 7 working days depending on your location and a signature will be required upon delivery. Please note we may substitute an alternative courier service for orders consisting of multiple items, large or bulky orders. Our courier service will require a signature.

Please note, we are unable to calculate local customs and sales tax outside the UK and are not liable for these costs. You may be notified by your local customs authority once your order has reached the Channel Islands and they may apply customs and sales tax, which must be paid by you before you receive your goods. Delays can occur in customs which are beyond our control.
