    2. When you purchase something from us.

    If you make a purchase on The Sweetie Jar’s website, we collect information associated with the transaction, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment confirmation, email address and telephone number.  We also collect information such as the transaction date, products purchased, and amount paid for products, Device Information and Technical Usage Information as well as limited information about the transaction.  Our Site uses Shopify payments for all credit/debit card transactions. Our Site does not store any information regarding your credit/debit card details. 

    3. When you purchase something for someone else.

    When you purchase something for the benefit of someone else, or if you request someone to make a purchase on your behalf, you give us certain Personal Information about the recipient.  We collect this information to fulfil the Services that you request.  This includes their name and postal address.

    If you make a purchase on The Sweetie Jar’s website as a guest, limited services are available without being required to log in to or establish an Account, known as Guest Transactions.  We collect the Personal Information you give us to fulfil your order.  This includes your name, postal address, telephone number, email address and any other information you give us.

      If you are an International User - Please note that we may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in, including the United States. Your personal information is also processed by staff and third-party service providers and partners in these countries.


      HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION FOR?

      We keep your Personal Information only so long as we need it to fulfil our legal obligations and for our business purposes.  This is also the case for any of our partners, for example: Shopify Payments (our Payment Service Provider), Royal Mail & our Courier Company, that we share your information with to enable us to fulfil your order.  When we no longer need to legally keep your information, we will securely remove it from our systems.  If your Account is closed, we reserve our ability to retain and access the Information for so long as required to comply with applicable laws.  We will continue to use and disclose Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

      The cookies we use have defined expiration times.  Unless you visit our website or use our Services within that time, the cookies are automatically disabled and retained Information is deleted.  Please refer to the section on “How Do We Use Cookies and Tracking Technologies” for more information.
