The Sweetie Jar is an online retro sweet shop in the UK, filled with classic sweets, nostalgic treats, and thoughtful sweet gifts for all occasions.  Based in Nottingham, The Sweetie Jar was founded in 2010 with a passion for helping you rediscover the sweets we all remember and love.

The idea for The Sweetie Jar began after a visit to a sweet shop with my sons, where the sweets from my own childhood were nowhere to be found.  It sparked a simple question -  were those retro sweets still being made?  After a little research, the good news was yes.  Many of those much-loved retro and traditional sweets were still around, just waiting to be rediscovered.

I soon realised that my love of nostalgic sweets was something many others shared too.  Everyone I spoke to had their own favourite childhood sweet and a special memory attached to it.  From classic British retro sweets like Fizzy Cola Bottles and Foam Bananas to traditional favourites such as Rhubarb & Custard and Pear Drops, these treats have a wonderful way of bringing back happy memories.
